Mint Events supplies cocktail bartenders, mixologists, waiting staff, bar-backs, hosts and brand ambassadors across Ireland. Every one of them is trained in-house before they ever represent an event, and every one is briefed on your specific running order — the timings, the guest list, the VIPs, the dietary flags and the moment the speeches start — before they walk through the door.
Our bartenders are not agency fillers who learned three drinks on the drive over. They can build a menu of classics from memory, work clean and fast under pressure, pace a 400-guest reception, and hold a conversation with a client's CEO without being asked twice. Where an event calls for a full cocktail menu, the same team designs and serves it.

Minimum bookings are short and flexible, and we quote the number of staff we think you actually need, which is occasionally fewer than you asked for.
We staff events in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath and nationwide. Uniform is smart black by default; we are happy to work to a dress code, a theme or your own branded shirts. If the bar itself is still missing, we can bring counters, glassware and draught taps too.

Bartender hire questions, answered
How much does it cost to hire a bartender in Ireland?
Bartenders are quoted at an hourly rate with a short minimum booking, and the rate varies with the skill level required, the day of the week and the location. A cocktail specialist for a wedding reception costs more than a bar-back for a corporate drinks night. Send us the brief and we will quote it plainly.
How many bartenders do I need for my event?
As a rough guide, one bartender per 40 to 50 guests for a drinks reception with cocktails, or one per 75 for beer, wine and simple serves. Add a bar-back once you pass roughly 150 guests. We will tell you if we think you have over-ordered.
What is the minimum booking?
Short. We would rather send one bartender for a few hours and do it well than turn the booking away. Travel outside greater Dublin may carry a small charge, which is always shown on the quote.
Can your bartenders make cocktails, or just pour drinks?
Both. Our bartenders are trained on classic cocktails and can work from a bespoke menu, batch in advance and serve at pace. If you want a full designed menu rather than a list of standards, that falls under our cocktail hire service.
Do you supply waiting staff and other event staff too?
Yes. Waiting and floor staff, bar-backs, cloakroom and door staff, hosts, brand ambassadors and back-of-house support. Many clients book a mixed team from us so there is only one supplier to manage on the day.
Are your staff insured and vetted?
Every member of our team is trained before they represent an event, and Mint Events carries the cover you would expect a professional event supplier to hold. We are happy to provide documentation to venues on request.
Can staff wear our branding or a costume?
Yes. Smart black is our default, but we regularly work to venue dress codes, event themes and client-supplied branded uniforms. Send us what you need and we will make sure the team arrives in it.
